Your Blessing Day

Daddy blessed you at our home on Sunday, April 27, 2008. You are still so tiny- around 10 lbs. We had a wonderful day. You were so good when all the friends and family were here and especially during the blessing. The people in attendance were: Grandpa Ron & Grandma Joann, Grammy, Grandpa Chris & Cassidy, Grandma Pat & Grandpa Dick (Gram & Gramps), Tiffany, Tanner & Ashleigh, Tricia, Connor & Hannah, Gami & Papa, Aunt Michelle & Uncle Jack & their 5 kids, Aunt Aimee, Grandma D, Tara & Sean, Shelley (Shumway), The Quent Family- Tia, Uncle John, Melissa and Garrett, JC, Angela, Kimee, Cortney, & Jordan, Mommy's close friends from our ward- Sandy Carder & Brother Carder, (Auntie) Nicole Pickles, Jennie Nichols, Alisa Larson. We also had our wonderful bishop- Bishop Bill Guttery and his counselor Brother Magleby. I am so thankful for all these people and their attendance at this wonderful event. These people showed mommy and daddy support and love during the time you were in the hospital. These and many more were rooting for your safe arrival to this world and good health for you. We are so lucky to have them in our lives!
Daddy did a wonderful job with your blessing. Grandma Joann tried to write down everything but she said she missed some parts. I have it printed out and will put it in your 'baby box' with all you other important things. The things I remember most about your blessing was that you would have healthy eyes, ears and heart. Also that you would touch the lives of those around you by having a shining light, Heavenly Father's shining light, around you. You were also blessed that if you strayed away from Heavenly Father's path that you would find your way again. You were blessed that you might be married in the temple and lead your children in righteousness. I remember a few times where you were blessed to have a soft heart and that you might care for others, that was pretty prominent to me.
Cloee, you are such a special girl. Mommy and Daddy are so happy to have you as a part of our family. You bring so much joy and happiness to all of us. Your big sister and big brother love you so much too and sometimes they tell me how they don't know how life would be if you didn't come to our family. We are truly blessed to have you with us. You are our miracle, baby girl!
